Governor Abercrombie proclaims 5th Hawaii Week for the Animals December 7-15, 2013!

HONOLULU - Dec. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Animal World USA is pleased to announce that the 5th Hawaii Week for the Animals kicked off December 7th and will be celebrated through December 15, 2013.  Governor Neil Abercrombie has once again demonstrated his support by officially proclaiming the week!

The Hawaii Week for the Animals is spotlighting educators, advocates, animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, businesses, artists, community leaders, and caring citizens in an exciting week of community-building activities.

The week will feature pet adoption festivals, wildlife activities, Santa events, educational events and a unique variety of community events statewide. All these events will shine the spotlight on the amazing animals, beauty & history of the islands and compassionate people of Hawaii. The week presents a unique opportunity to change the history for the animals by collectively coming together through goodwill and relationship-building events.
