Engaging Photo Slideshows for Instagram Video with VideoStory for iOS

New features in version 2.2 include the ability to add customizable text titles on the resulting video stories as well as an updated user interface. The text tiles are customizable with a great selection of fonts, colors, and placement positions.

The recently introduced video feature of Instagram is quickly becoming as popular as the original photo sharing feature that made Instagram into one of the greatest social networks of our time. Besides recording a video from inside the Instagram app, the user can now use VideoStory to create a unique and engaging video story with photos and music, tailor made for sharing on Instagram. Additionally, the beautiful video filters offered by Instagram can be used to enhance the video story before sharing it.

VideoStory is designed as an easy to use three-step wizard. In the first step multiple photos can be added from the user´s Camera Roll or Instagram account, in a single session. VideoStory will automatically square the photos and let the user change the order or adjust the square cropping.

In the second step the user can select a delay between photos and add a video transition effect like Fade, Slide, Cover, Push Left, Push Down, or Zoom Out. A music track from iTunes can be added in the same step, with the possibility to select the starting position, add fade-in/out audio effects, and adjust the volume. The user can also add a customizable text tile to the resulting video story.

In the third step the video story can be created, previewed and then sent to the Instagram app. As a convenience feature, the settings can be saved as a video story project and later reused.

VideoStory v. 2.2 is a completely usable free app, without advertising, that has premium features locked under a single in-app purchase ($0.99). This is a universal iOS app that runs on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch with support for iOS version 6, and 7.
