AT&T Utilizes My Business Matches™ to Execute a Series of Virtual Business Matchmaking Meetings

Dec. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- AT&T Supplier Diversity utilized My Business Matches™ (MBM) virtual business matchmaking module to host a series of virtual business meetings between AT&T Prime contractors and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE).  It was the first time virtual business meetings were conducted as part of AT&T’s supplier diversity initiative. Meetings were held throughout November 2013.

MBM’s virtual business matchmaking module is embedded in the matchmaking web solution. The web solution is user-friendly, effective, and reports the business results that emerge from the virtual meetings.

The purpose of the virtual business matchmaker was to assist AT&T Prime Contractors reach their yearend opportunity and diversity goals, specifically correlating to veteran owned businesses.

AT&T Primes were in control of their schedules from the beginning. The first step was to identify the current opportunities their companies had available. Next, certified DVBE’s who provided the services Primes were seeking were matched with them. Then, Primes reviewed each DVBE business profile and selected the best companies that fit their needs. After the meetings concluded, Primes rated each meeting using My Business Matches™ web based app, www.mbmapp.com. The feedback collected was used to track the business results that emerged.
