Participants in The Wellness Circle wear the iAM, a revolutionary activity monitor developed by iGlobalWellness which measures speed and intensity of movement, combined with calorie burn and metabolic data.  Its much more than an old fashioned pedometer - Every type activity can be measured and converted into points.

Alongside each employee’s individual journey towards Wellness companies host Team Events in which participants compete to increase their activity levels and attain other wellbeing goals. Teams of 5 enter into each Event, competing against each other over a 4-week period.

Participants receive support form a Personal Wellness coach as well as nutrition and dietary advice, and regular tips on how to get and stay active. Additional components of wellbeing, such as medical screening and stress management are also delivered through Wellness Circles.

A study published at the end of 2012 in the U.S-based journal ‘Population Health Management’ showed that a lack of activity is linked with a 50 percent increased risk of low productivity.
