Follow on Google News | Joe Bachman Supports Military With PTSD With A Benefit Concert At KC’s Time Out LoungeMilitary with PTSD making their debut as a new Indiana Non Profit for veterans and their families by kicking it off with a charity concert.
Singer/songwriter Joe Bachman’s debut single, “Small Town Rock Stars” hit #26 on the Country Top 40 chart, living by the motto “Keep it Country.” Growing up with a father in the Army, Joe has always had a special place in his heart for veterans and service members. His latest release, “A Soldiers Memoir,” is a heart-wrenching relatable ballad. The lyrics really show the anguish that living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder leaves when it torments our veterans. Right now, 22 veterans are committing suicide due to PTSD every single day. So to bring the veteran suicide rate to the public’s attention, Joe sat down to write a song about PTSD to show the struggles and mental anguish our veterans suffer when they return home. We as a nation need to shift our focus and help these veterans and their families. Military with PTSD's mission is to improve and protect the lives of people living with PTSD with a special emphasis on both past and present members of the armed forces as well as their caretakers and family members. Military with PTSD offers both peer support and peer education through connection to others who really do understand this condition and can relate to its effect on the caregiver and family. The concert will be held at KC’s Time Out Lounge, 1121 Washington Square, Evansville, IN 47715. Tickets are $10.00 and available at Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/ Joe Bachman is available for phone interview. Please contact Shawn Gourley to set up a time that is convenient.
