Santa Caught With Circus Cannon, Points Finger at Mobile Games Company

HERTFORDSHIRE, U.K. - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- All Santa's reindeer have caught the flu and cannot fly, it's nearly Christmas morning and Father Christmas has bought an old circus cannon to launch himself through the air instead. That's the premise of the new mobile game - Crash Bang Christmas - launched by one-man independent games studio, Jazzlebags Games.

In this platform puzzler, it's up to you to fire Santa out of his cannon, gather all the presents and successfully deliver them through the chimneys before Christmas morning. Deliver all five presents on each level and Santa gets himself a nice mince pie.

"Santa has always been a bit of a Luddite and from what I've heard he is also very distrustful of the postal system," says Andy C Watson of Jazzlebags Game Studios. "So when the big guy approached me asking for help I knew we had to think fast. I had an old cannon lying around that I'd drawn up in Photoshop a few weeks earlier for Ham Sandwich - a piglet stunt performer who I'm currently working with - so we figured with a bit of training Santa could use that to take to the skies. It looks like we were right."

Crash Bang Christmas is available now from Google Play, free for Android-powered phones and tablets, with an iPhone and iPad version due to launch on the app store next week. Here's how you play:

- Drag Santa's cannon around the screen to line it up with presents;

- Tap to launch Santa into the air, grab those presents and deliver them to the children;

- Work your way through all 25 levels and earn mince pie treats whenever you deliver all five presents;

- Collide with magic bubbles to float over obstacles;

- Avoid the nasty icicle spikes at all costs;

- Reach all 25 chimneys and save Christmas!
