Hyginex Announces New CMO Dr. Jeannie Chen, MD and VP of Business Development James Hoch

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Hyginex hires Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jeannie Chen, MD and VP of Business Development James Hoch to expand its U.S. customer base and achieve its goal of increasing hand hygiene compliance in hospitals. These new leaders bring enthusiasm for improving hand hygiene and a dedication to patient safety to their new roles.

Dr. Chen is a former anesthesiologist who previously practiced at Kaiser Santa Clara in northern California. Dr. Chen completed her residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University and attended Northwestern Fienberg School of Medicine. She is also currently pursuing her MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

“As an anesthesiologist, I was frustrated with the apathy I saw towards hand hygiene. I was impressed with the commitment of the Hyginex team to addressing this serious issue and I am glad to be able to lend my experience to their goal of preventing HAI through improving hand hygiene,” says Dr. Chen.

The new VP of Business Development, James Hoch, has extensive experience in hospital quality in both the clinical lab and the cancer center settings. James has also headed up the Business Development function of the informatics group of an S&P 500 clinical trials company. James brings experience with new business development, partnerships, and leveraging large data sets to solve healthcare problems to his new role at Hyginex.
