Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach Opens Today

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- WHAT:  Hurricane Grill & Wings continues its national expansion with the opening of its newest restaurant in Boynton Beach, Florida. Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach is the first of many planned franchises in the Palm Beach County market for Casual Dining Ventures, Inc. partners Peter Guala and Tom Markert.

The island-inspired restaurant will celebrate with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony and Grand Opening celebration. The ribbon cutting ceremony will feature a $500 donation to Little Smiles, a Florida-based non-profit organization dedicated to children that are spending time in local hospitals, hospices and shelters. Little Smiles Board of Directors President George “Chip” Lubeck and Board Member Mike Donovan will accept the donation on the organization’s behalf. Additionally, Virginia Sinicki from the KVJ 97.3 FM Morning Show and Miss Florida Junior Teen Rebecca Markert will be part of the ribbon cutting; both are affiliated with the charity.

The Grand Opening celebration which will commence immediately following the ribbon cutting will feature music by local cover and original rock band Grindstone, local performers and cheerleaders, as well as an appearance by Florida Atlantic University’s mascot Owlsley. Guests will be treated to special giveaways and food and drink specials.

Finally to cap off the Grand Opening, Hurricane Grill & Wings Boynton Beach will host a Wing Eating Contest, featuring the Boynton Beach fire and police chiefs, South Florida residents, students and more. Local residents are invited to sign up to participate in advance or on the day of the competition! The person that can best handle the “heat” will win free wings for a year*.

*Free wings for a year equates to five wings per week for 52 straight weeks.
