Sonal Dabral - Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of DDB Mudra Group Visits MICA

Hailing from Agra, a city where advertising was never considered as a career, Dabral is renowned for his 1995-96 Cadbury Dairy Milk campaign, followed by the Perk 'hunger strike' ad that launched Preity Zinta, the Binnies chips ad and the award winning anti-smoking ad by O & M.

Having relished a MICAn lunch of Rajma Chawal, Dabral got the audience perked up with his signature style of beginning his seminars- singing bollywood songs- a typical Shah Rukh Khan number, this time. In a free-wheeling presentation on insightful lessons he had learnt via his advertising ventures, Dabral then continued sharing his take on one’s dreams, creativity, the relentless pursuit of one’s gut-instincts, when and when not to get too much into details and the importance of always being open to different opportunities in life.
