Seacoast National Bank to sponsor reception and lecture for noted conservation photographer

STUART, Fla. - Dec. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Seacoast National Bank is co-sponsoring a reception and lecture for conservation photographer Carlton Ward, Jr. at the South Florida State College’s Museum of Florida Art and Culture, 600 W. College Drive, Avon Park on December 5th.  The reception begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the lecture at 7:00 p.m.  There is limited seating and reservations can be made by calling Victoria Kelley at (772) 221-7002.  The lecture compliments the Florida Wildlife Corridor Exhibition and coincides with the Images of Florida exhibit by photographer Lee Dunkel.

Ward established the Florida Wildlife Corridor as a public awareness initiative in 2009.  The exhibition highlights the journey of four explorers who traveled 1000 miles in 100 days from the Everglades to the Okefenokee Swamp in southern Georgia.

Ward’s photographs are featured in magazines including Audubon, Smithsonian, Geo, Nature Conservancy and National Wildlife.
