The importance for seeking family BONDING to avoid family bondage

Every family deals with stress even if it is not fully acknowledged. Vacations are a good way to relieve that stress but what happens if you can't afford a vacation every year? Alternative options are available, I believe I found one!

Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Hindsight is 20/20 I've been told, I am beginning to see the wisdom in that statement. When my children were small we went on mini vacations, mostly we visited family.  The expense of a formal vacation was too expensive for us with four small children.  It took great planning and budgeting to create an experience that would work for all of us. I remember our vacation to Disneyland - it was taken one time during their childhood.  We made it and loved our time together. My husband and I decided we wanted more, but now how to make that happen.

I did my own kind of research, reading all I could from the experts on ways to creating family experiences on a low budget.  I found articles that gave great insights into different options but the one that stuck was owning a family cabin. Using that cabin to create yearly traditions, family bonding, and over all strong healthy connections between parents and children. My Mother-in-law always stated, "That is what family is all about, working and playing together. Most of all creating strong family roots." She gave sound wisdom in that statement, but I still couldn't see a way to make that happen.  We moved around when our children were small, finally finding a job opportunity to stay put so we could begin growing strong family roots.  Giving our family a place that could weather any storm, any stress, and any challenge that may come.  Not getting away from our mundane life we lived created greater stress.  So off we would go for a day or two in the car just to give us different scenery.

My kids are now grown and our family continues to grow. At this writing we have eleven grandchildren with three more coming in the summer.  I refuse to give up on my dream of creating an opportunity to strengthen family bonding.  I refuse to do nothing and create the memory of family bondage due to statements like, "I can't afford it" or "That is too expensive." Now it's more important that ever; if I don't figure this out soon, it may never happen. I knew the value was there and anything of value was worth fighting for, right?

In Psychology Today, the article of "The importance of vacation to our physical and mental health" published on June 22, 2010 by Susan Krauss Whitbourne stated, "The benefits of vacations extend to family relationships. An international group of researchers led by Purdue University Xinran Lehto concluded that family vacations contribute positively to family bonding, communication and solidarity...Though family vacations can have their own share of stress, the benefits outweigh the risks, even in families that are not particularly close, according to Lehto and co-authors."

It doesn't matter where you are at, what age, or what family dynamics you have it is time to take action and find a solution to create your strong family bonds. Visit http://www.redcanyoncabin.com for details, I bleieve I found the perfect alternative solution. I wish this opportunity was around when I had small children but since that was not the case, this is now available for me, my children, and grandchildren. The catch is there is limited time available to take advantage of an opportunity like this, when the time is filled this opportunity is closed.
