LEXINGTON, Ky. - Dec. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- One of the most respected names in bluegrass music plays Lebanon, Ky. (http://www.visitlebanonky.com), during a festival of bluegrass music. Award-winning Lonesome River Band headlines the Jan. 24-25, 2014, event – a weekend that also brings new group Flatt Lonesome and The Moron Brothers (“purveyors of fine bluegrass”), to this small town located in central Kentucky. They will perform along with other bluegrass entertainers during the annual Bluegrass in the Bluegrass Festival that also includes a celebration of another Kentucky tradition, quilting. Lebanon has plenty of reasons for you to extend your stay beyond Bluegrass in the Bluegrass. Tour Maker’s Mark Distillery ($7/person), the only operating distillery in America to be designated a National Historic Landmark. Sample moonshine with the master distiller at Limestone Branch Distillery where much of the new season of Discovery Channel’s “Moonshiners” was filmed. Watch handmade barrels get fired to precision at the Kentucky Cooperage. Visit WhiteMoon Winery to sample seven wines ranging from dry to sweet.
