IDSI Sends Holiday Wishes to Our Service Men and Women

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Dec. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- On Monday, December 2nd, Intelligent Decision Systems, Inc. (IDSI), mailed out nearly 200 cards for the American Red Cross’ Holiday Mail for Heroes program. Employees across all of IDSI’s offices participated in the program. Not only were IDSI employees involved in filling out cards, but also family, friends and even colleagues from other companies.

Holiday Mail for Heroes is a yearly program in which the American Red Cross collects holiday cards for our service men and women, their families, and Veterans. The program is a wonderful way to support those serving our country during the holiday season. Tens of thousands of Americans participate every year, sending cards and personal greetings to service members at military installations, Veterans’ hospitals, and other locations around the world.

When asked where she heard about the program, Rachael Spayde, Quality Assurance Manager at IDSI replied, "I actually got the idea from Facebook. I saw that a friend's company was participating, and I thought, 'Hey, we can do that!' I've never participated in something like this before, but it was easy to coordinate. I'm hoping we can put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces for those who are unable to be with their loved ones this season."

IDSI was pleased to participate in this year’s Holiday Mail for Heroes program and to support the efforts of the American Red Cross.
