Britticares International “ Give Life For Christmas ” Blood & Toy Drive

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Nov. 29, 2013 - Dec. 7th, 2013 - Los Angeles, CA  – What better gift to give this holiday season, than the gift of life?  Britticares International will hold its 7th annual “Give Life For Christmas” Blood Drive at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, December 7th, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  In attendance will be celebrity guest from Disney and Nickelodeon.

Children who attend with a blood donor will receive Free food, face painting, Santa, celebrity guest, entertainment & more for all ages to enjoy, all while helping save lives.

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood, making it more than 38,000 Americans needing blood everyday, according to the American Red Cross.  Children are among those in need as the prevalence of childhood diseases continue to rise.  Britticares International has come together with  Children's Hospital Los Angeles to help spread awareness and progress among blood donations.

This holiday season will prove beneficial for the patients of Children's Hospital Los Angeles receiving love and support from BCI and blood donors, for every pint of blood three lives can be saved.   Jamie Henderson, founder of BCI expresses “ the word ‘ care’, means to us, to anticipate a need then meet it.”

Those who can’t donate blood are encouraged to donate a toy or make a monetary donation that will go towards the Adopt a Family Program, and Christmas breakfast.
