"Penguins" team to host "The Zelda Marathon 5" in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters

Penguins Marathons is back at it for their annual Zelda video game marathon. "The Zelda Marathon 5" kicks off on Friday, December 13th at 7 p.m. ET on www.penguinsmarathons.com. The marathon will not end until all 9 games are complete.
Nov. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- The Penguins Marathons team will be holding "The Zelda Marathon 5" to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of St.Catharines - Thorold & District. The event is a third party fundraising effort that is being put together to aid in mentorship programs, future fundraising efforts and making successful matches for children.

The event will begin Friday, Dec. 13th at 7 p.m. ET at penguinsmarathons.com. The Penguins Marathons team will be playing 9 Zelda games for 24 hours a day. The marathon will not conclude until all 9 games have been completed.

They will be playing : The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link , A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker HD, Four Swords Adventures, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

This year they have decided to recreate Link's inventory from Ocarina of Time for their prizes. On top of many other available items, participants will be able to glance through Link's inventory at http://penguinsmarathons.com/prizes/ and bid on the items they want.

The team is raising the bar high, and aiming for a $10,000.00 goal. Donations can be made at the time of the event on their website. All donations will be processed through Pitch In Box and go directly towards the charity's PayPal account.
