Follow on Google News | ![]() Buddy the Elf is joining the festivities at ODEON, The Printworks this year!This year the news that Channel 4 would not be showing everyone’s favourite Elf has dampened the Christmas spirit, but ODEON in The Printworks have come to the rescue with a special screening of Elf on Monday the 16th December.
By: The Printworks ODEON at The Printworks has something in their stocking for everyone this year. Wishing Manchester a very Merry Christmas by bringing some old school Christmas classics back to the big screen starting on 9th December with “It’s A Wonderful Life” finishing on Christmas Eve with “The Polar Express” for the 9th Year running. Another Christmas treat involves everyone’s favourite festive hero, Kevin McCallister, who is back on Monday 23rd December with the classic “Home Alone”. No matter how many times you see this film, Kevin protecting his house against the Water Bandits still makes everyone giggle. Ending the festive run for the 9th consecutive year “The Polar Express” will take over the biggest of screens on Christmas Eve. It will be shown in IMAX 3D with guests coming back year after year as a family Christmas tradition. ODEON at The Printworks is renowned for its film classics but of course they will also be showing all the latest new blockbusters too including “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” in both Digital 2D/3D and also IMAX High Frame Rate (HFR) 3D. Fred Booth, Centre Director of The Printworks said; “Christmas is a huge time for us and we have got all your favourites right here at The Printworks at a bargain price so there’s no excuse not to get into the festive spirit.
