GIREM and Certes Realty recognizing potential of the city of Bhubaneshwar with MoU

GURGAON, India - Nov. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- A Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) has been signed recently between the city of Bhubaneshwar and GIREM, an industry body, to showcase the potential of the city to emerge as a preferred business destination.This is being seen as an important step towards the growing buzz around the city as a National and Global Business Destination. Dr. Pitabasa Sahoo, Member, Town & Regional Planning, Bhubaneshwar Development Authority signed the MoU on behalf of BDA while Mr. Shyam Sundar S.Pani, President, GIREM signed on behalf of GIREM, in the the presence of Mr. Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister Housing & Urban Development, Govt. Of Odisha, Mr. Injeti Srinivas, Development Commissioner & Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Odisha & Chairman BDA, Mr Vishal K. Dev, Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority & Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, Commissioner, BMC.

Experts and investors, alike, have billed Bhubaneshwar to become a major business destination. GIREM will extend its expertise to attract investments, build a strong & vibrant economy, create great employment opportunities and raise income of all sections through skill up-gradation so as to improve the quality of life of the people of Bhubaneswar.

Special emphasis will be placed on promoting & marketing of the city to create 100,000 IT [direct] jobs and 5 lakhs indirect & induced jobs in Bhubaneswar in general &the new township in particular.
