ATLANTA - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- The founder of the Black Music Association and Academy of America, Dr. Rick Warren, announced that the first ever Black Music Awards in Atlanta, Georgia., will be rescheduled for April 2014. "We are still very excited and look forward to our Atlanta show.  The organization has experienced some structural changes recently, which has led to this postponement of our Atlanta show.

"We are very pleased with the development of our Atlanta chapter and the work done thus far by its new president, Ms. Shanta Hereford and the team formed there.   Unfortunately, due to these organizational changes, the  Atlanta chapter was not being fully supported with all of our resources.  Our organization prides itself on providing positive and educational entertainment for the whole family."  “The BMA is proud of the Atlanta Chapter, and everyone looks forward to a new beginning with even more people involved and successful event in 2014,” says Rick Warren BMA National president.

Ms. Hereford and I agree that in order to ensure the success of our Atlanta debut it is necessary to reschedule our event. Our organization deeply apologizes for any inconvenience to those who had plans to participate or attend the show. All tickets purchased will be refunded via Ticketmaster, or can be reserved for our re-scheduled show.
