Author, Sherry Kay Thompson, Takes on Manhattan

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Best-selling Author, Sherry Kay Thompson, took Manhattan by storm earlier this month as an exhibitor at the 2013 Self-Publishing Book Expo that was held on November 9th at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City.

Thompson showcased her book It's My Fault - My Journey Through Breast Cancer at the Expo in her efforts to continue to raise awareness about a disease that effects hundreds of thousands of individuals (women AND men) in the United States.

It's My Fault - My Journey Through Breast Cancer chronicles Thompson's personal battle with breast cancer, including her diagnosis, her struggle to come to terms with her disease, and her very personal and heart-wrenching decision to undergo radical double mastectomy to combat her cancer.  It is a very intimate view into Thompson's experience with breast cancer and was written to bring hope to other women who still suffer.
