PRLog -- The Unmanned Vehicle University small UAV Pilot Training course announces the first graduate to interview for a Predator Sensor Operator job with Gneral Atomics in San Diego. The student had no prior UAV experience. The student was a security specialist in the Army National Guard. This course is certified by the government Workforce Investment Act. The small UAV pilot training course consists of three phases. Phase 1 is an online ground school that familiarizes you with small UAVs. During Phase 2, the student receives a simulator in the mail and the instructor works with the student. During Phase 3, the student receives 3 days of in person flight training at one of the UVU flight training centers.
Unmanned Vehicle University (UVU) is the only University in the world licensed to grant Doctorate and Masters Degrees in Unmanned (Air, Ground, Sea) Systems Engineering and a Certificate in UAS Project Management as a totally online curriculum.
