New York State Court Officer Wins 2013 Outdoor Adventure Dream Giveaway!

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Nov. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 Outdoor Adventure Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by the National Association of Christian Churches (NACC), came to an end on October 30, 2013. 59 year-old Norman Reddish from Tonawanda, NY, was named the grand prize winner.

Mr. Reddish will soon become the proud owner of both a luxurious 2013 Berkshire 390RB RV and a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon plus two Jeep bicycles and a top-of-the-line kayak! In addition, Mr. Reddish will receive $50,000 cash to help pay the prize taxes.

Mr. Reddish entered the Giveaway on February 5, 2013, by making a $20 tax-deductible donation. The entire “Dream Team” staff from DG Group, Inc. and the sponsor, the National Association of Christian Churches, were on hand to congratulate him when he received the winning phone call. Mr. Reddish was shocked when he heard the news, “When I got the call that I had won I got a little shaky and had to sit down,” Mr. Reddish said. “I just couldn’t believe I had won! It wasn’t until the next day that it really started to sink in.”

Mr. Reddish, who in his free time enjoys fishing, hiking, and wood working, has worked as a court officer in a New York court house for the past 28 years. Mr. Reddish was born and raised in New York and decided to enter the 2013 Outdoor Adventure Dream Giveaway after receiving an email, “I have entered several Dream Giveaways over the past few years,” Mr. Reddish said. “Earlier this year when I received an email for the Outdoor Adventure Dream Giveaway I thought I would make a donation and take a shot at winning.”

Mr. Reddish and his wife will accept the keys to both matching vehicles on December 6, 2013. As excited as Mr. Reddish was to be named the winner of the giveaway, he didn’t forget the causes his donation went to support, “My wife and I enjoy helping support various charities,” Mr. Reddish said. “My wife works for Catholic charities and I just finished 16 years volunteering for a food shuttle program that takes food from the big stores and delivers it to churches and other food banks in the neighborhood.”

The National Association of Christian Churches (NACC) is a faith-based organization prepared to mobilize relief efforts without regard to race, creed or religion, at a moment’s notice through a network of over 100 member churches, generous corporate supporters, and thousands of volunteers. As a result of this event, NACC will award grants to the National Guard Educational Foundation and WorldVision.
