California's first dealer of the 4-wheel bicycle (the Rhoades Car) "the 4-wheel bike that drives like a car" will be donating $10. to the Braille Institute of Rancho Mirage, CA for every adult who test drives any of their vehicles.
Leisure Wheels Quadracycles LLC ,the first California dealer of the Rhoades Car, “the 4-wheel bicycle that drives like a car” has chosen Braille Institute in Rancho Mirage, California as its first local non-profit organization in the Coachella Valley to be the recipient of a $10. donation for every adult who test drives any model of our bicycles between now and December 31, 2013. In addition, for every test drive that results in a purchase of any model, Leisure Wheels will donate an additional $100. to Braille Institute. Many of the Rhoades Car models allow a sighted driver to steer, brake, and pedal, while the non-sighted passenger can still pedal and switch gears, getting exercise and a measure of independence.
The Leisure Wheels dealership opened in Palm Springs in December of 2012. The bicycles we sell are made in the U.S. for over 22 years. They are shipped directly to the buyers’ home or office ready to ride. They are made of recycled steel and the vehicles follow normal bicycle rules. They come in 7 or 42 speeds with an optional electric motor assist. They offer stability and exercise for all ages and abilities and models seat between 1 and 4 persons. There are no licenses or inspections of the vehicles required. Earlier this year we were proud to assist Blindness Support Services of Riverside with the purchase of two vehicles for their clientele. We strive to be as green of a company as we can and encourage you to check out our website at
