Follow on Google News | SHARE Family Seeks Community ConsultationCollaboration with Realize Co-op to research opportunities to strengthen local services
“Our goal is to help vulnerable people in our communities gain new skills, a greater sense of independence and an improved quality of life,” said SHARE Chief Executive Officer Martin Wyant. “We also want to look at new ways of working with our partners in the community to ensure we deliver the right service to the right client in the right place. We really welcome ideas and feedback from people across the Tri-Cities.” Earlier this year, SHARE partnered with Realize Co-op – a Vancouver based consulting firm – to research opportunities to strengthen services for vulnerable people living in Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Anmore and Belcarra. The project – known as the Catalyst Centre – will build on SHARE’s proud 42 year history of making a difference for the lives of people in the Tri-Cities. John Kay, Chief Executive Officer of Realize commented, “We are thrilled to be working with SHARE on this vital initiative. The feedback we have received so far shows there is great interest in looking at new ways of delivering services in the Tri-Cities.” The community consultation will seek input from members of the public, businesses, media, community leaders and other key stakeholders.
