Nov. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- BOISE, ID (November 25, 2013) – Whole Foods Market is known for its community giving, supporting local causes through in-store fundraising campaigns. It’s now taking these community partnerships to the Web, enabling online donations via Facebook and mobile devices for its “Feed Four More (https://m.socialgoodnetwork.com/campaign/feed-four-more)” initiative to support the Idaho Foodbank.

“This is a first for Whole Foods Market anywhere,” said Matt Collins, marketing and community relations specialist for the Boise store.  “Feed Four More is a successful in-store fundraiser for us, and now we’re using technology to make it easy and convenient for people to give when they aren’t in the store.”

Between now and the end of the year, Whole Foods Market Boise is using video storytelling and innovative technology to drive the Feed Four More campaign, where $5 provides breakfast for a family of four, and $10 buys lunch or dinner for the same family.

To support the Idaho Foodbank and help combat hunger over the holidays, simply visit the Whole Foods Market Boise Facebook page (http://Facebook.com/wfmboise) and click the “Feed Four More” graphic image to make a contribution.

Social Good Network (http://www.socialgoodnetwork.com) developed the technology platform being used in this effort, while Boise advertising agency Oliver Russell (http://www.oliverrussell.com) contributed the fundraising video, “Bellies.”

“It’s rewarding to partner with progressive brands like Whole Foods Market and use our online fundraising platform to expand resources and awareness for worthy causes like the Idaho Foodbank,” said Russ Stoddard, Social Good Network Chief Do-Gooder and co-founder.
