TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Nov. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- TWIN FALLS – South Central Public Health District (SCPHD) is conducting an online public health survey and is asking for help from the community. The survey was developed by SCPHD staff and the SCPHD Board of Health with the following goals in mind:

·         To help identify current and future health care needs in our community.

·         To increase community awareness of local health problems.

·         To determine trends in demographics related to health.

·         To help improve and strengthen SCPHD programs and services.

“This is an opportunity for the public to help shape the future of health care, especially in the eight counties we serve.  This survey will provide insight into what the public feels are the most important and pressing healthcare needs in our community and will help us improve programs and strategies to meet those needs,” says Rene LeBlanc, SCPHD District Director.

Anyone interested in taking the short, anonymous survey should visit www.phd5.idaho.gov . The survey is available online in both English and Spanish, and paper copies are available at all SCPHD offices (Bellevue, Burley, Gooding, Jerome, and Twin Falls) for those people without access to a computer.
