By: Indian River Lagoon Paddle Adventure Old Town Canoe Company has donated a Penobscot 174 canoe to the Indian River Lagoon Paddle Adventure. “Old Town Canoe Company's generous donation to us shows everyone how important the health of the Indian River Lagoon system is to all of us,” said Paddle Adventure spokesman Rodney Smith. “Old Town clearly realizes healthy estuaries are vitally important to our happiness and well-being.” The Indian River Paddle Adventure leaves from JBs Fish Camp in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on December 1. The destination is Jupiter Light, a distance of 160 miles.
