By: Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort A new service this season, the online purchase system also offers substantial savings on multi-day lift tickets, ski and snowboard rentals and coaching sessions. Guests can make purchases for visits to LVSSR through Sunday, Apr. 6, 2014, which, weather permitting, is LVSSR’s scheduled closing date. The option to make purchases at the resort is still available though special online pricing will not be honored. “We designed the online system so that we can offer our guests a savings, reducing wait times at the lift ticket and rental areas,” said Maria Jose Norero, LVSSR’s director of marketing. “Our goal is for our guests to maximize their time spent having fun on the snow.” Also new this season is LVSSR’s Ride Local Card, a program where a one-time fee of $69 offers cardholders two weeks of free skiing/riding and the chance to lock-in a discounted rate of $49 on daily lift tickets. There are no blackout days and lift tickets are non-transferable. The Ride Local Card is available for a limited time only and can be purchased online through Dec. 7, 2013 at www.skilasvegas.com or at LVSSR’s guest services office. Cardholders enjoy two weeks of free skiing or riding December 9 – 15 and again the last week of the season, which weather permitting is March 31 – April 6, 2014.
