It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Dan Cohen has been elected to the Board of Governors of Fitness Formulary, LLC. Dan is a dynamic and seasoned leader in the healthcare industry with multiple successes in start-ups and mature businesses.
Dr. Cohen, a Board certified neurologist, was Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of CNS, Inc., formerly a publicly owned company, started in 1982 to develop neurological diagnostic and monitoring capital equipment. In 1993, CNS launched the highly successful Breathe Right® nasal strip, a consumer healthcare product designed to improve nasal breathing and reduce snoring.
In 2006 CNS was acquired by GlaxoSmithKline for $566MM. Dr. Cohen is Co-Founder and CEO of Round River Research Corp. and BodySound Technologies, Inc. the developer and marketer of BodySound™ technology. He is also an inventor and the holder of numerous patents on both hi-tech and consumer technologies and a co-author of two books. Dr. Cohen also serves on the Boards of Halo Inc., Victoria McGill Enterprises and advises a number of other startup entrepreneurs.
Dan received his BS degree from Penn State University in Science and his MD from Temple Medical School. He received his training in Neurology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinic and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
