Connecticut Firm Reinvents The Golf Putter with Its New Patent

By: MxVGolf LLC

BROOKFIELD, Conn. - Nov. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Brookfield, CT (November 2013) – MXVGolf, an innovative golf putter lab, has been granted a patent No. 692,974, dated November 5, 2013, by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its golf putter head design.

The patent covers the principal design feature of MxV putters - a round face - equal to the diameter of a golf ball. The unique, patented round face delivers Center Strike Technology® for the most accurate putting offered to golfers worldwide.

"As the inventor of a conforming round face putting surface, our aim is to revolutionize golf with our proven, accurate putters" said Brian Wittman, President and Creative Director of MxVGolf. "As golfers grapple with finding the sweet spot, they need look no further than the technology and design we offer."

“The MxV putter is based on Newton's Cradle (the popular executive desk toy that adorned many a corporate office in the 70's), by striking a golf ball with a putter of equal diameter, you’re essentially hitting a ball with a ball. Naturally, you'll strike the center of gravity, "the sweet spot", with less error as the club glides to its target in a steady flow of energy (momentum - mass x velocity, hence MxV).”

The MxV putter conforms to the Rules of Golf from both the United State Golf Association (USA) and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club (worldwide), making it legal to use in tournaments around the globe.

The MxV1 Putter is available online at mxvgolf.com.
