NJ Non-Profit Announces 2nd TASTEFULLY SIMPLE FUNDRAISER to help protect animals of abuse victims

MONTVALE, N.J. - Nov. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- MONTVALE, NJ, OCTOBER 30, 2013--Shelter Our Pets has teamed up with Tastefully Simple Representative Ellen DiVietro to host their second annual online catalogue party featuring Tastefully Simple’s culinary products. Funds raised will be used for the organization's foster care program.

The event began September 22nd and runs through December 1st of 2013. Products can be bought directly from Shelter Our Pets’ website, ShelterOurPets.org or from the organization’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Shelter-Our-Pets/160312777438725.  A percentage of the sales will be donated to Shelter Our Pets.

Shelter Our Pets is a New Jersey-based, all-volunteer nonprofit with the mission to provide temporary shelter for the pets of victims of domestic violence who are fleeing their abusive situations.  Shelter Our Pets provides a specialized service, offering loving care and shelter to pets of abuse victims, either with a foster family or at an area kennel, until they can be reunited with their owners.   The organization’s long term vision is to create housing where abuse survivors can reside with their pets while they rebuild their lives.

Lynn Gregorski-Bosi, a Trustee at Shelter Our Pets met DiVietro last year at a Tastefully Simple party. Gregorski-Bosi mentioned the launch of Shelter Our Pets to DiVietro who agreed to partner with the nonprofit to raise funds and awareness. DiVietro has partnered with the organization again to host another online catalogue party, hoping to raise even more awareness about the nonprofit’s cause and to raise money to help fund the organization’s foster care program.

DiVietro will also be selling Tastefully Simple products at Shelter Our Pet’s upcoming Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 16th, 10am-4pm, Woodcliff Lake Senior Center,

Tice’s Corner Marketplace, Woodcliff Lake, NJ.  A percentage of sales at that event will also be donated to Shelter Our Pets. Visitors to the event will also have a chance to win a Tastefully Simple Gift Set by signing up for Shelter Our Pet’s mailing list.

“I love Shelter Our Pets and the people who volunteer for them. Children are sometimes put in tough situations in these types of circumstances and I’m glad there is an organization that thinks about the animals too. I’m so glad to have the opportunity to help again,” says DiVietro.
