St. Juliana School Installs WeatherBug Reporting Station
St. Juliana School recently became a WeatherBug School with the installaton of a weather tracking and reporting statioon on the roof of the school.

The school also acquired WeatherBug Achieve interactive educational software for classroom use. Teachers can apply real-world conditions to help teach skills and concepts in a variety of core subjects. Using current and historical weather data that is local to the school makes it a more meaningful learning experience for students working on science, technology and math exercises.
"We are excited to bring a WeatherBug station to our school, as it will help bring science to life for our students." said Katrina McDermott, principal. "The station and WeatherBug software will give them the opportunity to further their knowledge about weather and climate by using current technological tools."
By participating in the WeatherBug program, St. Juliana School provides the surrounding community with a variety of benefits as well:
