Is making a difference in the lives of middle school and high school students. We are raising money for over 250 underrepresented students in the Bay Area of San Francisco to participate in Citizen Science Workshops. "Citizen Science" is a fantastic way for students to engage in scientific research projects. These nine-week workshops will give the students the freedom and the tools to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving, using creativity and collaboration, to explore education and career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. The websites the students build, with the support of facilitators and volunteers, will reflect their interests in various educational, career, and global opportunities which they can share with their immediate communities, neighboring communities, and communities around the United States.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
As an education entrepreneur with extensive experience serving in private and public schools, Tracy Gray has witnessed the academic challenges facing students from every background. Ms. Gray has devoted her professional life as an educator and entrepreneur to developing interdisciplinary curricula, and creating and directing diversity and intercultural programs in the schools where she worked and through entrepreneurial endeavors. In one previous role, as Co-Founder and Director of Education at the 12Comics Learning Support Program, Tracy participated in the cultivation of student success by developing education programming through the use of comic books.

As Founder & President of The Sankofa Global Project, Gray has conducted research and interviewed science educators and professionals to uncover ways to create a paradigm shift in the current student experience. Most importantly, she interviewed middle school and high school students, recent high school graduates, college and university students graduates to bring their perspective into picture. Who knows best how students learn? Students! As a single mother of two daughters, Tracy is committed to make that my girls, and all students, have every opportunity to increase their interests AND access to opportunities in the S.T.E.A.M. fields.
