Follow on Google News | First BESI Building Envelope Certification Class Certified Successfully and Planning Begins for 2014The Building Envelope Science Institute successfully certified 20 students as Building Envelope Certified Inspectors on October 23, 2013. Preparation has begun for upcoming 2014 conferences.
Preparations have already begun for the Institute’s 2014 conferences. The Institute plans to introduce levels BEC-3, BEC-4, and BEC-5 over the course of the year in February, June/July, and October 2014 respectively. Additionally, the Institute will be reoffering the BEC-2 certification in January for those who were unable to attend the October 2013 conference. The Building Envelope course series includes information on the proper inspection and investigation of building envelope issues such as (but not limited to) water intrusion and latent construction defects.
