Shami Media Group Just Signed a Joint Venture Distribution Deal With Universal Music Group

NEW YORK - Nov. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- New York, New York (November 12, 2013)- Shami Media Group (SMG) and Universal Music Group (UMG) are teaming up on a deal that consist of distributing content among all digital platforms worldwide. Shami Media Group will put their legendary dance Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Billboard chart toppers catalog that has some of the most influential names in the industry including StoneBridge Axwell, Sebastian, Ingrosso, Robbie Rivera, Danny Tenaglia, Markus Schulz and many more. The joint venture distribution deal falls under the umbrella of Street Scholar Music Group and Bungalo Records and does not only stop at music but is also inclusive to the distribution of all the independent movies through the Universal Distribution system which include digital and hard copy sales. These titles will be released under WatchIndie which will put out all types of movies especially urban and international films that have subtitles.

Shami Media will release music through their imprint label for music with some of their upcoming talent under Music4Nation (M4N), which will be the official label for all the music distributed under Universal Music Group. M4N will be open to house all music genres and release steady streams of compilations including Dance Mix USA, Ibiza Mix, NYC House Mixes and more.

The joint venture between Shami Media Group and Universal Music Group was orchestrated by the mutual relationships fostered by Mark Berry of AMG Attack Media Group. Upon assessment and consultation with Bob Shami, CEO of Shami Media Group on extensive masters and copyright available in the former label Wakko Records catalog. Attack Music Group will consult with Bob Shami of Shami Media Group regarding further solicitation for film and television opportunities.
