Fun, Fast, Fundraiser: Pilgrim Lutheran’s Jogathon 2013 Was a Success
Pilgrim Lutheran School (PLS) successfully held its 4th Annual School Jog-A-Thon last month and successfully raised $13,386.
Principal Herold and Jogathon Coach Sue Hergert ran along with the kids. At the final event, after being lapped multiple times, Principal Herold even posed a good-natured race challenge to the speediest middle schoolers, as each vied for the “finish line.”
This fourth annual Jogathon will provide funds for improving Pilgrims programs, including:
· repairs to the sound system in the gym
· sports equipment and uniforms
· art literacy
· technology tools like iPads
· classroom educational tools like digital projectors
· a part-time PE teacher for the lower grades!
