Santa Fe Business Incubator Salutes Entrepreneurs With a Week’s Worth of Activities

SANTA FE, N.M. - Nov. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Santa Fe, NM – In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Santa Fe Business Incubator (SFBI)presents a business resources open house, 3:30 pm – 5:00pm Thursday, November 21, 2013. The event is open to the public free of charge.

“You can explore multiple resources from key organizations in the regional business ecosystem,” said Marie Longserre, President of SFBI. “Our co-located partners at the Incubator include WESST, SCORE, and NCNMEDD: North Central New Mexico Economic Development District. Many of them also have activities scheduled during this week.”

SFBI’s participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week includes a variety of activities open to the public.

Monday, Frank. C. Salazar, attorney, of Sutin Thayer & Browne Law Firm presents “Create and Protect your Value,” A Legal Perspective on Intellectual Property (IP), Trademarks, Copyrights & More. The luncheon seminar presents legal strategies to allow an entrepreneur to create and protect value while concentrating on growing business. Tom Aageson, Director of the Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship, hosts a start-up coffee from 9:00 am – 10:30am Wednesday to discuss the opportunities and challenges Santa Fe faces to become the hub for creativity and innovation.

A Business Resources Open House on Thursday highlights partner organizations and businesses growing and transforming the Santa Fe area economy.
