Spotlite Radio Presents Kim Biery

On Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. EST, Spotlite Radio is proud to have Pastor Kim Biery as a guest on the show.  Pastor Kim has been in ministry in the Hutchinson community for over 20 years.  She attended Phillips Theological Seminary, where she earned her Masters of Divinity degree and Doctoral degree in Pastoral Counseling. As a cancer survivor, Kim has found that faith in God is a sustaining factor in being resilient and growing through any problem.  Working at Park Place, Kim has successfully served as a Pastor for over 10 years.

Pastor Kim will be discussing on Spotlite Radio how to define one’s legacy as understanding who you are and how you have lived. To create your own legacy, Pastor Kim instructs her listeners to advise if you are a person of integrity, if you are an encouraging person, if you brighten up your corner of the world and how you love and give to others. If you live courageously as an influential figure, you will succeed to realize that it is important to understand life is hard and you cannot give up.  Pastor Kim’s inspiring words encourage everyone around her to be a courageous person and to persevere through any situation. It is important to learn and accept that bad things will happen to good people and what matters most is your perspective towards every journey.

As a cancer survivor, Pastor Kim would like to share that cancer makes us a better person.  Cancer never leaves us the way it found us and it should change your outlook on life to fulfill your legacy every day.  Pastor Kim encourages her listeners to get on the “Bridge of Faith”.  This is your choice to stand above the river of negative emotion through the crisis, the bridge will bring you hope.  By identifying the situations in your life, you will identify what works and doesn’t work for you to increase the steps of what is working in your life.  Pastor Kim also encourages her listeners to make an action plan by creating a big picture and then creating small manageable steps to achieve your goals.
