JM Family Enterprises Announces Senior-Level Promotion

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Carmen Johnson, Executive Vice President of diversified automotive company JM Family Enterprises, Inc., announced the promotion of Upendra Mody to Vice President of Total Rewards.

In this position, Mody will be responsible for the Human Resources functions of compensation, healthcare and retirement benefits, workers compensation and HR data management. Mody joined JM Family in 2004 and has held multiple roles in Information Technology Services, including leading the Technology Strategy, Architecture and Business Intelligence departments. Since 2011, he has served as Assistant Vice President of the company’s Enterprise Project Management Office where he helped redefine project and portfolio processes as well as participated in HR strategy development.

Mody received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India, and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. He resides in Coral Springs with his wife and two daughters.
