Planet eStream Recognised for National Industry Award

BRADFORD, U.K. - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- A West Yorkshire based specialist educational technology company have received national recognition by being short listed for a prestigious industry award.

Planet PC’s innovative media content management and distribution product, Planet eStream has been short listed for a BETT award. These awards recognise and celebrate innovation and creativity within the educational technology sector.

Planet eStream provides digital media streaming, archiving, IPTV, off air TV recording, lesson observation and digital signage functionality to over 400 educational establishments across the UK ranging from primary to higher education. Planet eStream fought off tough competition to reach the final ten in the ‘ICT Tools for Teaching and Learning’ category and are up against ten other category finalists, making it one of the most competitive groups.

The BETT Awards are part of the BETT Show; the world’s largest learning technology show which is held annually at Excel, London. The BETT show is the global meeting place for the educational technology community, bringing together over 35,000 educators and leading professionals every January.

Winners of the 16^th Annual BETT Awards will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Wednesday 22^nd January.
