Sportscasters Coslov and Petrolino Tapped to Host College Arm Wrestling Championship
According to “CAWL to Arms” creator, Rob “Bucky” Buchalter, “we are thrilled to have Noah Coslov and Tara Petrolino on board to host our first College Arm Wrestling League Championship series. As a new collegiate sport, we could not be in more capable hands. Noah and Tara both have a wealth of experience; they understand the competitive edge and mental conditioning it takes to win.”
As Host and Managing Editor for CineSport, Coslov serves as the face of the largest online network of original sports video content. Noah hosts and reports for over 500 sites including the Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer and Los Angeles Times, plus signature programs on Hulu. He has covered the biggest sports events in the country, from the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals and Stanley Cup to the BCS National Championship Game and Final Four.
Petrolino is a seasoned sportscaster, writer and television host covering over 100 live sporting events both in the booth and on the sidelines for Fox College Sports, MSG, MSG Varsity, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and BigEast.tv. Most recently, she covered the National High School Invitational for ESPNU and ESPN2 and the 2013 Big East Men and Women's basketball tournaments for BigEast.tv. During the 2011 and 2012 WNBA seasons, Petrolino served as play-by-play announcer on New York Liberty broadcasts seen on NBATV, MSG+, WNBA.com and ESPN3.
The first “CAWL to Arms” arm wrestling match-ups include students from Penn State versus students from Rutgers and students from University of Connecticut versus students from Syracuse University. The winning teams from those match-ups will face each other in a final Sudden Death round to determine the 2014 “CAWL To Arms” Grand Champions. The winning team members will share a $10,000 cash prize.
Filming for the competition takes place Nov. 17-18, 2013 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J.
