Aston Villa v Cardiff 15:00

Match Prediction : Villa don't seem to win at home, Cardiff struggle to get over the line away, stalemate looks likely so a draw is what the stats suggest. Villa, usually score atleast 1 at home, but also tend to concede nearly 2 at home, Cardiff have a similar record in away matches. Draw is my prediction.

Chelsea v West Brom 15:00

Match Prediction : Chelsea have a 100% head to head at home record, hard to look past that, coupled with this season's 100% win rate at home, my prediction here is easy and is ofcourse a Chelsea win.

Crystal Palace v Everton 15:00

Match Prediction : Palace can't seem to keep any clean sheets and stats show they tend to concede atleast 2 goals at home. Everton, tend to do moderately well at keeping the home team from scoring when they are playing away, and they marginally manage to score more than their opposition when playing away. My Prediction is an Everton away win.

Liverpool v Fulham 15:00

Match Prediction : On current form, Fulham seem to do quite a good job at restricting teams when playing away, they rarely concede more than 1 goal when playing away and sometimes get a goal themselves, but Liverpool average nearly 2 goals per home game and have a very good defensive record, so both defences will be hard to break down. My prediction here is a Liverpool win.

Southampton v Hull 15:00

Match Prediction : All the stats point to a Southampton win, and they effectively pick out a probable scoreline too. Hull alternatively struggle hard to win or even score away from home. They can't keep any clean sheets and will be also missing an important striker for them, Aluko, who is out until January with an Achilles injury. I'm going for a Southampton win

Norwich v West Ham 17:30

Match Prediction : Last year's result at Norwich says it all 0 - 0. I don't see it straying too far away from this result. It's looking like a goalless stalemate, with the home team fighting for their lives and needing probably at least a point to keep the vultures away from Chris Hughton's door for one more week. My prediction is a low scoring draw.

Sunday 10th November 2013

Tottenham v Newcastle 12:00

Match Prediction : Spurs have a perfect head to head record at the lane over the past 3 seasons and also have a better home win percentage, however Newcastle seem to score more and concede more than Spurs on their travels so far this season. Still, my prediction is a narrow Spurs win.

Sunderland v Man City 14:05

Match Prediction : This season, Sunderland have been far from convincing at home, compared with previous seasons. City, don't have a great away record this season, having won only 20%, drawn 20% and lost 60% of away matches, however they have managed to score an average approaching atleast 2 goals when playing away and tend to be involved in high scoring home and away games this season. My prediction is a comfortable City win.

Man Utd v Arsenal 16:10

Match Prediction : This is clearly the eye catcher of the weekend, David Moyes will need a win to show he's the man for the job, Arsene Wenger knows a win here will get the punters, including Gary Neville having to accept atlast that Arsenal are genuine title contenders. Going purely on stats, I can't look past a narrow Arsenal away win in this encounter. I think ManU will be lucky and probably happy to get a 2 - 2 draw out of this one based on their current form.

Swansea v Stoke 16:10

Match Prediction : Looking at the head to head combined with the form analysis it points to a close battle which both teams should score but Swansea should narrowly come out on top. So I'm going for a Swansea win.
