Chipotle and Retro Fitness Join the Center's Retail Offerings

WEST ORANGE, N.J. - Nov. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management (http://www.levinmgt.com/) has negotiated two long-term lease agreements totaling more than 16,600 square feet at West Orange Plaza (http://www.levinmgt.com/cgi-local/properties.cgi?mode=show_detail&property=59) in West Orange, N.J. The new tenants include casual Mexican restaurant Chipotle (2,557 square feet) and fitness chain Retro Fitness (14,115 square feet).

Levin's Vice President of Leasing Michael Cohen negotiated the transactions. Dan Spector of Winick Realty Group represents Chipotle; Hugh Scullin of Katz & Associates represented Retro Fitness.

"The mix of stores, services and restaurants at West Orange Plaza makes it one of the most dynamic retail destinations in all of Essex County," said Cohen. "The addition of these retailers rounds out the offerings of goods and services, and further enhances the diversity of the center's tenant base."

Well located at the intersection of heavily traveled Eagle Rock and Prospect avenues near I-280, West Orange Plaza is among the area's most dominant shopping destinations. The 283,791-square-foot center is anchored by Whole Foods and features a range of national and regional tenants including Staples. The center serves a full-time population of more than 500,000 people within a five-mile radius. The area boasts a median household income of $63,500 and a daily traffic count of more than 60,600 vehicles.

Some prime retail space remains available at West Orange Plaza ranging from 1,572 to 4,071 square feet.
