Here are just some of the ways HTP precision heat

and control system technologies are being utilized:

Biodiesel Production Facilities

Produced from domestic, renewable resources, Biodiesel is a clean-burning

alternative fuel. Heat Trace cable and control panels are all used in the

biodiesel production process, where each step requires critical temperature

control delivered through electric heat. The final biodiesel product contains no

petroleum, is nontoxic and biogradable; this fuel can be used in conventional

diesel engines with little or no modifications.

Ethanol Production Facilities

Production of ethanol involves the processing of various chemicals, water, and

mixtures that must be held at exact temperatures throughout the production

process, then pumped to processing stations. Heat Trace Products’ cables,

tank heaters and controls are used to maintain these temperatures during

production. The ethanol product – primarily used as an alternative fuel for

gasoline powered vehicles – can then be shipped for final processing.
