Actor Richard John Reliford Attends Big Apple Film Festival for “Anger Mismanagement” Short Film

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Actor, Richard John Reliford will attend the Big Apple Film Festival (BAFF) in New York City on November 9-12, 2013. The actor starred in and co-produced the short film, “Anger Mismanagement” that will screen at the Festival on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 11am at the Tribeca Cinemas.

“Anger Mismanagement” is a film about five men ordered by the legal system to take an anger management class so they can better handle their aggression problems. The film recently screened at the 9^th Annual Holly Shorts Film Festival in Los Angeles where it received an Audience Choice Award. It also screened at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. “I’m looking forward to my first extensive trip in New York.  I am proud of this project in which myself and production partners, Jorge Sanchez and Lanre Idewu have put together.  The film is an interesting take on "anger management" and living a life of denial.  My character, Kalief, is sincerely committed to believing in his own coined phrase "situational racism" and will hilariously stop at nothing to prove his point,” said Richard about the film.

In Addition to “Anger Mismanagement, Richard John Reliford also recently starred in a leading role in the hit movie, “Frat Brothers” alongside Mishon Ratliff, Romeo Miller, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Ashley A. Williams and Denyce Lawton. The actor will be available for press interviews during his visit in NYC and attending some red carpet events with fellow actor, Cisco Reyes.
