Grand Junction Beauty School Invites Public to Cosmetology Salon Grand Opening Event

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Nov. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- IntelliTec College in Grand Junction announces the grand opening of its cosmetology school and invites the community to join them in celebrating at their brand new facility located at 2464 Patterson Road on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce will perform a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m.

The celebration will be broadcast via live remote by KMGJ, and IntelliTec’s own IT guy Zach will DJ the event. Everyone is invited to come and share cake, snacks and drinks and stay for chair massages, cosmetology services, a raffle and special giveaways.

Raffle prizes include gift certificates for a manicure/pedicure, haircut and style, facials and other salon items. The grand prize will include salon products by Matrix. Gift bags will contain items donated by Salon Centric and information about the Cosmetology/Massage Programs at IntelliTec of Grand Junction.

Cosmetology school students and faculty will be attending the celebration along with IntelliTec corporate employees, family, friends and clients. Cosmetology Program Supervisor Brenda Allen anticipates that the event will “bring attention to the new Cosmetology program and let the community know where they are located and the services they offer.” She also states, “The new facility is a very modern, clean, classy and relaxing environment.”

The school salon is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., and IntelliTec students perform all services under supervision. Services include haircuts, color, highlighting, nail services, facials, waxing and makeup.
