From cell phones, outdated telecommunications systems, VCRs, televisions, game consoles and MP3 players. to computers, hard drives, and other office and home electronics – all laced with potentially toxic materials – Energy Corridor Recycles Day will make sure they end up recycled or disposed of properly. But wait, there’s more. West Houston’s premier environmental event is an unparalleled opportunity to free up home, garage and office space by recycling your unused stuff. Old batteries – even vehicle batteries – clothes, shoes, toys, DVDs, textiles, backpacks, school supplies, toiletry bags, high chairs, picture frames, décor, kitchenware, glassware, furniture in good condition (accepted on a case-by-case basis), and household glass, metal and plastic will be accepted for recycling. Documents will also be securely shredded at Energy Corridor Recycles Day. Energy Corridor Recycles Day is sponsored by BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil Chemical, Members Choice Credit Union, Phillips 66 and The Energy Corridor District.
