Seven stocks in focus in Tuesday morning trade

EW DELHI: Indian markets are likely to trade in a range with a negative bias on Tuesday. The key support level for the index is placed at 6,267 levels. "The Nifty is expected to trend up till 6350. In this period the key support will be at 6267.

ASHOK VIHAR, India - Nov. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Here is a list of seven stocks (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/topic/stocks) which are likely to be in focus in trade today:

JSW Steel Ltd:
The country's biggest private sector steel producer, JSW Steel (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/jsw-steel-ltd/stocks/companyid-8352.cms) Ltd, is going deeper into the rural market with its retail plans.

"The company, which is the second steel firm in India after Essar to set up organised steel shops, is planning to set up centres across talukas to serve the rural market more effectively," according to media reports.

Bharti Airtel Ltd: The telecom operator is in talks to buy out Warid Group's telecom business in Congo. Talks between the two companies are at an advanced stage and a deal could be announced in the next one month.

Coal India Ltd: The state-owned has produced 35.03 million tonnes (MT) of coal in October, missing its target for the month. The company's output target for the month was 40.82 MT, according to the PSU's filing on BSE.

Ashok Leyland Ltd: Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/ashok-leyland-ltd/sto...) reported 15 per cent decline in sales at 6,803 units for October 2013.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd: The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/hero-moto-corp-ltd/st...) is looking to better its last year's mark of selling over one million units in just two months of October and November.

Hindalco Industries Ltd: US aluminum fabricator Novelis is raising prices of its automotive aluminum sheet products in North America, effective for all new orders beginning January 1, the company said Monday. Novelis was acquired by Hindalco in the year 2007.

Apollo Tyres Ltd: Trial begins here on Tuesday to decide the fate of the proposed $2.2 billion (about Rs. 13,461.8 crore) takeover of Cooper Tire by Apollo Tyres. Cooper Tire sued the Indian company for failing to finish the purchase deal announced in June. Apollo was supposed to close the process on October 4. But it didn't
