San Francisco Dog Wash Requests Help in Obtaining 250 Thousand Dollar Grant from Chase

SAN FRANCISCO - Nov. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Local bay area premium dog wash and pet boutique, K9 Scrub Club, is looking for Facebook fans to help them win one of several grants awarded by Chase through their Mission Main Street grant program.

Each year, Chase awards several small businesses throughout the country a 250 thousand dollar grant to help them grow their business.  Together with Google as their premier sponsor, they are once again working to help small businesses realize their vision through direct financial support in the form of a grant.

K9 Scrub Club started in October of 2010 and opened their doors to their first location in November of 2011.  In the last three years, they have worked to build a strong foundation and reputation in the pet community through service, products and community support.

They pride themselves on being a premium dog wash and offering a level of service not typically found at other dog washing facilities.  Their product offering is focused on premium pet products for dogs and cats that are not typically found in larger retailers.

The founders, Steve Davis and Jason OHara, are passionate about pets and equally passionate about giving back to the community.  So far in 2013, through direct cash donations, product and supply donations, team member time and event sponsorship, they have donated over $8000 to local San Francisco schools, rescues and non-profit organizations.

Being awarded this grant gives K9 Scrub Club the ability to take a big leap forward on their business plan by adding additional locations, jobs and helping fulfill the founders dream of making a truly unique neighborhood place where people and pets can get together to shop, get clean (the pets, not people!) and get information on some of the best products and services for pets.
