WASHINGTON - Nov. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Dr. Reza Aslan, author of “Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth” a New York Times best seller, is an academic who feels the pulse of change happening in the Muslim world. “Make no mistake this wave of democracy-activism that we are seeing across large parts of the Middle East is a direct result of this reformation process that I am talking about.…It’s about deciding for yourself what it means to be Muslim in the 21st century. These kids are not willing to sit around and wait for the conclusion of the debates at Al Azhar of whether Islam and democracy can be reconciled. They have already made that decision on their own. They don’t care what the old men in turbans have to say.”

MPV is an international grassroots organization that stands for freedom of expression, as well as freedom of and from religion. At this talk we will acknowledge the many Muslims persecuted, jailed, tortured for demanding a basic human right – the right to think.

Come hear Dr. Reza Aslan one of the greatest American Muslim Reformers of the 21st Century.
