Follow on Google News | 2nd Annual American Heroes Tournament Sponsored by IDEAL Physical TherapyBy: Kino Baseball League and IDEAL Physical Therapy Email: jessica@ Phone: 602-621- 2nd Annual American Heroes Tournament Sponsored by IDEAL Physical Therapy For Immediate Release (Phoenix, AZ) –The Kino Baseball League will be presenting the 2nd annual American Heroes tournament sponsored by Ideal Physical Therapy November 9-10-11 at the Kino Sports Complex. The proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Disabled American Veterans Tucson chapters. The tournament will hold a brief opening ceremony on Saturday, November 9 at 8:30 AM prior to the start of the tournament with the Honor Guard from Davis Monthan Air Force base presenting the colors, followed by singing of God Bless America and the National Anthem. Dan Marries of KOLD 13 will be the emcee for this event and the first round of games will start at 9:00 AM after the ceremonies have been concluded. Game times are 9:00am, 11:30am, 2:00pm, 4:30pm, and 7:00pm on both days. A total of 33 teams will be participating in this tournament—17 teams will be in the 18 and under division that will feature high school programs from throughout Southern Arizona and a team from Santa Theresa, New Mexico. All of the 18 and under games will be played at the Kino Sports Complex. The tournament will also feature 16 teams in the 15 and under bracket. These teams will start off playing on Saturday, November 9 at Mehl Foothills, Arthur Pack Park and Curtis Park, then on Sunday all the teams will come and play at the Kino Sports Complex. The 2nd annual American Heroes tournament will conclude with the championship Monday on Veterans Day, November 11th. Admission to the games played at the Kino Sports Complex is $5.00 per adult per day, children 17 and under are free.
